Carlos Sainz has had a very tumultuous 2022 F1 season, where he saw the highest of highs, but also the lowest of lows. It was a rollercoaster of a ride for the Spaniard.

However, despite everything that happened during the season, one thing that he might regret is how his F1-75 was plagued with gremlins throughout the year.

The 28-year-old had quite a decent number of DNFs and this played a part in him ending up behind George Russell in the Drivers Championship. The Brit amassed 275 points in the 2022 campaign, whereas Carlos Sainz was only able to add 246 points which put him down to P5 in the Driver’s Championship.

After Abu Dhabi, the recent campaign has become a thing of the past, and the focus is now going to be on developing a car that would be able to challenge Red Bull next year.

The Maranello-based Ferrari F1 Team has got all the manpower in the World to do exactly that, and it would be fascinating to see if Carlos and Co. would fare next year.
