Charles Leclerc and family visit the mountains at Ibiza to enjoy the last few days of F1 summer break

As the summer break of Formula 1 has trickled down to the last few days and the Belgian Grand Prix right around the corner, all the F1 racers are now making most of the moments before they are back in racing mode for the upcoming race at Spa-Francorchamps. For Ferrari recruit Charles Leclerc, the meaning of having a nice holiday includes his friends and family members, so he hit the mountains at Ibiza for a hiking session with his close ones, to mark the end of his F1 2022 summer break.

Photos from Charles’ hiking trip have made it to the internet and have gone viral since the Monegasque was spotted by some fans at Ibiza. Charles was seen being accompanied by his girlfriend Charlotte Sine, a 22-year-old student and model, who hardly left the side of the Scuderia driver ever since the summer break kicked off.

From Charlotte’s Instagram page, the big traveling party stayed at the Six Senses in Ibiza during their trip. She has posted numerous photos from their hike, captioning them with “The best moment in Ibiza: Hike of 3:00”. The social media page of the Ibiza Hike Station is now also peppered with Charles Leclerc‘s photos, which were reposted by Charlotte on her Instagram wall.

While the season started off on the right foot for Charles Leclerc, the things are not particularly looking positive for the Ferrari racer as of now. With thirteen races having already taken place in this season, there appears to be a huge gap of 80 points between him and the Championship leader Max Verstappen.

With nine races left in the roster, Charles Leclerc has to put his mind towards bridging the gap and bring as many valuable Championship points to his team as he can. Now it remains to be seen if Ferrari can retain their second spot in the Championship standings till the very end of this season, or if Mercedes makes a massive improvement and gets into Ferrari’s place in the points table.
