Apart from this, the 26-year-old recalled that he texted the 39-year-old soon after acknowledging the news about the shocking move. Lewis Hamilton will conclude his final season at Mercedes in 2024

The seven-time world champion has been driving at Mercedes for a very long time. Hamilton will conclude the 2024 season as a Mercedes driver for the last time after driving in the team since 2013. Additionally, Hamilton would retire from F1 as a Ferrari driver, which is a very big achievement in itself.

Apart from this, the 39-year-old has finalized his situation within the sport as he signed a multi-year contract with Ferrari. The Briton would be paired up with Leclerc at Maranello and would leave his long-time team, Mercedes. However, Hamilton’s replacement at Brackley hasn’t been finalized by Toto Wolff as multiple drivers would be more than willing to drive in one of the best teams.

Carlos Sainz will be ousted from the team following Hamilton’s entry into Ferrari. Hence, the seven-time world champion would try his best to maximize results down the season and end the season on a high. Additionally, Brackley would also try their best to facilitate the 39-year-old to contend for the world championship in Formula 1.
