Danica Patrick, a former IndyCar and NASCAR racer, envisions an equal Formula 1 playing field: all cars identical. “You can’t exclude Max, I think when you apply all the styles, that will be a pretty great duo right there, between Max and Alonso, because they’re both pretty aggressive too, so that would be fun to watch,” Patrick said in Sky Sports F1 Podcast..

She noted that in races, especially considering their length, Lewis Hamilton’s remarkable consistency and limited mistakes would probably help him take the lead. This would happen while Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen are locked in their fierce competition on the track.

“I mean, he’s 41, he’s like re-emerged as so competitive and just doing that over and over again, like his second coming, I think it’s just so impressive. You can’t exclude Max, I think when you apply all the styles that will be a pretty great duo. I’d be really curious to see where Lewis fell in that too,” she continued.
