The Qatar GP has rolled in with the F1 circus arriving at the Lusail circuit for what could be Max Verstappen‘s Championship-winning round. The Red Bull driver has maintained a never-before-seen track record of claiming victory at 12 out of the 15 Grands Prix till now. And owing to his masterful racing, he has lived up to the fans’ expectations by getting a covetted top 3 spot in the Qatar Sprint race. This has taken the gap between Verstappen and his nearest competitor, Sergio Perez, to 223 points, and thus he got declared a third time F1 title winner.

Max Verstappen’s roaring third title victory will go down in F1 history as he is now one of the only six drivers to clinch the Championship on a Saturday. The Dutchman has truly asserted his legend status thanks to his consecutive title wins, and to witness his crowning moment, a sports legend from another discipline was present at the Qatar GP Sprint Race yesterday. It is none other than British football phenomenon David Beckham.

The Club SI members will have access to the Saturday night party which will be held right before the race unfolds at the Las Vegas Street Circuit. It is also confirmed that Beckham and O’Neal will get into a conversation about their respective careers and wild successes at the Club SI at the party. Speaking on the experience, Shaq said to Sports Illustrated, “Having attended Club SI at other Grand Prix races, I can say with certainty, when it comes to the celebration of sports, SI never disappoints.”

This is not the first time that David Beckham made an appearance at an F1 race. The Briton was seen at the inaugural Miami Grand Prix last year as he greeted his close friend Lewis Hamilton.
