SkySports F1 commentator David Croft had some big news to reveal during the days leading right up to the new year as his longtime partner Laura Bradley said yes to his proposal for marriage. Bradley has been associated with Formula 1 as Marketing Manager. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has previously served as the Director of Guest Experiences for F1 Experiences and then Director of Strategic Projects for the same venture. In March, 2021, Bradley joined Aston Martin as the Director of Guest Services, Hospitality and Events and she is still working at the British team as of now.
While it is unclear when David Croft had met Laura Bradley, it can be said that both of them have common friends who are associated with Formula 1. Croft is a revered F1 commentator who has made quite a name around the paddocks as he has been in the business for over two decades now. Before coming to SkySports, he worked for BBC Radio from 2006 to 2011. Croft has also been seen lending his voice in the official F1 gaming franchise.
On 30th December, David Croft took to his Instagram to reveal that he has been engaged to Laura Bradley, his girlfriend who works at Aston Martin. His post showed a selfie of the two, and it had the caption, “I asked, she answered, we’re now engaged. A Christmas Day proposal to my soulmate, thanks for saying yes @lozbradley Bloody love you”. The carousel post also had a close-up shot of Laura sporting the giant diamond ring.

When David Croft announced the news of his engagement on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, the 52-year-old was congratulated by all his friends from F1 and beyond. His fiancé Laura Bradley also shared the happy news on her Instagram page, with a picture of her engagement ring and a caption that said, “YES”.

Only a week ago, David Croft made the headlines in the F1 news as he sent a warning Red Bull’s way, saying that they must be aware that Daniel Ricciardo is not the future even though the Austrian team re-employed the Honey Badger as their third driver for the 2023 Formula 1 season. Now, it only remains to be seen how the executives at F1’s current number 1 team assess their situation regarding Daniel Ricciardo in the future.
