Red Bull Racing entered Formula 1 in 2005. The Austrian team made immense investments to become competitive in the sport. The energy drinks giant has achieved considerable success in recent years. Be it the domination by Sebastian Vettel or Max Verstappen. Former F1 team owner Eddie Jordan recently revealed the secret that has allowed the team to succeed in the sport.
The Irishman first stated the key factors that have helped Milton Keynes defeat its rivals at the pinnacle of motorsport. Jordan said, “Longevity, loyalty, focus, attention to all the minor details.” The 75-year-old hinted at Red Bull’s employees that have continued to be loyal to the Austrian team as it made its way to success in F1.
However, one name, in particular, was mentioned by the former F1 team owner. Eddie believed that aero genius Adrian Newey was perhaps the key to what allowed Red Bull to win multiple titles. The Irishman believed that Newey had found his natural home at Milton Keynes. Subsequently, he performed at his best for the team. He said, “Even though sometimes it looks somewhat a little bit turbulent from the outside, Adrian Newey has found his natural home.”

Red Bull is the best team for Adrian Newey, reckons Eddie Jordan
The 75-year-old recalled that Adrian had achieved results with multiple teams. However, it was Red Bull that perhaps suited him the best. Jordan was convinced that although the championship wins with Williams, the Red Bull Chief Technical Officer simply didn’t like the atmosphere at the Grove-based team—similarly, McLaren for not any better for Newey due to his relations with Ron Dennis.
Newey has remained a part of Red Bull since 2006. The aero genius has received multiple offers in that time, including a mega offer by Ferrari to spearhead the road car and racing divisions together. Yet, Adrian has stayed at Milton Keynes in perhaps the ultimate sign of loyalty. Even Toto Wolff failed to poach the Red Bull CTO to Brackley over the winter.
Eddie Jordan insists that Red Bull has dominated F1 in recent years due to the loyalty and determination of its staff. The Austrian team has one of the best workforces on the grid with a massive talent pool, including Adrian Newey as such, it seems that Milton Keynes will continue to have an upper hand over its rivals in the foreseeable future.
