Lewis Hamilton is one of the greatest drivers to have gotten behind the wheel of a F1 car and has also been one of the most empathetic persons one will ever come across. We all know the incredible amount of talent that he possesses but we have also seen a person who is concerned about what’s happening in the society and has taken the onus upon himself to bring about a change.
The Brit understands the influence that he has on his fans across the globe and feels that it’s his duty to make people more aware about the social evils. Racism is definitely one of them and this is something that the seven time world champion continues to face despite being in the sport for 15 years. The latest incident involves Nelson Piquet who used a racist remark against Lewis Hamilton.
This had made his fans very angry and asked the FIA to take necessary action against the three time world champion. The governing body quick leaped to Lewis Hamilton’s defence and condemned the comments made by ex Formula 1 driver. After a lot of deliberation, it’s been reported that F1 is considering to ban Nelson Piquet for life from the paddock.
