Ferrari star boy Charles Leclerc was spotted in New York on Monday. He attended the Yankees game and was honored to throw their ceremonial first pitch. The team’s official handle on Twitter shared an image of Leclerc in the stadium and thanked him for his service. The Monegasque driver was in Miami for his race on Sunday and finished seventh.
However, it was not where he wanted to finish. Ferrari have started the 2023 season on the back foot. Last season, they were Red Bull’s biggest challengers but things changed in the second half. They suffered from poor strategy and reliability issues. It was Max Verstappen who dominated the grid and was unbeatable. This season is not much different. The fans compared Ferrari with the MLB club New York Yankees as both teams have not had success lately.
The two teams used to dominate their respective fields earlier, but times have changed, and they are struggling now. Fans pointed out that Ferrari and the Yankees are similar in many ways. They both had long-term success and have a large following. It has been quite a while since Ferrari won a Formula 1 World Championship and the Yankees won the World Series title.

Charles Leclerc has a large following and is very much loved by his fans. However, the Tifosi are disappointed with Ferrari’s results.
