“Goat game recognises Goat” – Fans hail the announcement of Lewis Hamilton’s ‘iconic’ appearance on Fortnight with his pet dog Roscoe
Lewis Hamilton and his dog Roscoe will be making their grand entrance into the eSports world with their special skin being released on the world-famous multiplayer battle royale game Fortnight.
If Formula One is an international phenomenon today, at least a fraction of the credit for its popularity should go to Lewis Hamilton. The first and only Black racer of F1 has surpassed all the tags and labels that should define him and has reached a level of international fame that very few athletes of his contemporary times have gotten to. Lewis is way bigger than just a Formula One star. He is a fashion afficionado, a philanthropist, and a designer rolled into one. And as a cherry on top of all his achievements, Lewis Hamilton is a seven-time World Champion with 103 career Grand Prix wins to his name.
To honor such a legendary figure in motorsports, the British royal family conferred a Knighthood on Hamilton in 2021 by King Charles. But his most recent award is one that will blend the world of F1 and eSports together. Lewis is joining the stellar line-up of legendary figures featured in the Fortnight Icon series. Fortnight is a player battle royale game developed by Epic Games. It has won several awards since its inception in 2017 such as ‘The Game Award for Best Multiplayer Game’ in 2018.
The collaboration between v27.10 of Fortnight and Lewis Hamilton will see the release of a special LH44 skin on November 17. As of now, there are no related challenges that will be available based on the Lewis Hamilton skin. But the Silver Arrows racer will not be available on Fortnight alone as he will have the game version of his real-life pet bulldog Roscoe accompany him. Roscoe is a celebrity in his own right with almost 1 million followers on Instagram.
Fans claim Lewis Hamilton’s appearance on Fortnight has been overshadowed by his pet dog Roscoe
Lewis Hamilton has always made sure his pet dog Roscoe grabs the spotlight every time he visits the Briton’s races. Thus, naturally, the 9-year-old has a great fanbase who love to see the vegan bulldog in action. They have even claimed that Roscoe’s Fortnight appearance has clearly stolen the spotlight from Lewis.
Here is what the fans have to say about Lewis Hamilton and Roscoe’s special Fortnight skins:
In other news, Lewis Hamilton is simply counting the days till the last two Grands Prix of the 2023 season will be over and he will get his hands on the Mercedes challenger for next year. For the last two years, the Brackley outfit has horribly underperformed. The team that once raked in eight massive World Constructors’ Championship wins could hardly manage one Grand Prix win in 2022 and in this year, they have zero race wins from either drivers. But both Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton are hopeful that they will get back to their winning ways in 2024.
