After a string of power-packed Grands Prix that kept the Formula One fans on the edge of their seats, it is finally time for summer break. The F1 circus will not be seen travelling to a new location on their journey around the world for three weeks now. This is quite a nightmare for the followers of the sport who love to watch their favorite racers battle against the best drivers in the world. But for current World Championship leader Max Verstappen, this is a welcome respite from his heavy-duty job.
After winning a whopping eight subsequent Grands Prix, Max Verstappen is on his way to shatter former Red Bull racer Sebastian Vettel’s record of nine back-to-back F1 race victories. But the 25-year-old Dutchman refuses to let the pressure get to him. Perhaps this is the reason why Max wants to make full use of his summer break to lounge by the pool on his Italian vacation with girlfriend Kelly Piquet and her daughter Penelope.
As Max Verstappen is currently on his trip to Sardinia, the paparazzis have gotten hold of some of his pictures. At one point in time, the Red Bull golden boy was intently scrolling through posts on his mobile when he was snapped by the photographers. As his picture made it to Twitter, an account by the name of Matt³³⁺¹⁶ asked his fans to comment on what they think Max was looking at on his phone. And the hilarious replies ranged from ‘Kelly Piquet’s OnlyFans account’ to ‘Daniel Ricciardo’s thigh tattoos’.

Max Verstappen has had a long-standing rivalry with Lewis Hamilton. In 2021, when Lewis was the undisputed leader of the F1 pack with six back-to-back F1 Championships to his name, Max Verstappen challenged him for his debut title win. Lewis ultimately accepted defeat to Max and the Dutch lion got his first Formula 1 World Championship. Now, fans fantasize that Max might be checking out his rival from Mercedes on his phone while vacationing in Sardinia.

With these improvements, the rest of the season seems quite interesting but the fans will have to wait a couple of weeks before the Dutch Grand Prix arrives.
