Formula One is hardly all about the revvs of the cars and the lightning-fast speed of the racers. The most important thing that makes F1 the elite class of motorsports is the fans who tune in during the weekends to cheer for their favorites to capture a podium finish. And some of those followers also make it to the race circuits to witness the racers battle it out right in front of them. And one such young fan, Milo, showed up at the Mexican Grand Prix in hopes of catching a glimpse of his idol Lando Norris on the track.
Little did Milo know that he would be leaving the race with a memory of a lifetime as McLaren got Norris to meet with the kid. As the camera caught Milo waving his sign board, the writings on them melted everyone’s hearts.

Right after Milo met with Lando Norris, a picture of the young Mexican with the McLaren star started doing rounds on the internet. The boy held his sign in his hand while he posed for a photo with Norris. And when fans on the social media platform X found Milo’s picture there on the wall of McLaren’s official handle, they poured in their wholesome reactions.

It is the biggest wish of any F1 fan to meet with their favorite racer. And for Milo from Mexico, the wish came true and how! Now, his photo with Lando Norris has apparently given other followers the push they needed to plan for their birthday outings at one of the F1 Grands Prix.
On the other hand, Lando Norris’ weekend in Mexico has not turned out as he had hoped. He was eliminated from Q1 of Qualifying in a shocking event, leaving all the fans crestfallen. As the race is currently going on, the Briton has managed to improve from his P19 position to go up to the 14th place.
While Lando’s overtaking feat so far in the Mexican GP has given his fans hopes that he might finish in the points, the path would not be easy. Currently, he is entwined in a tough battle with heavyweights like Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, so it remains to be seen if McLaren get both their cars to finish in the top 10.
