Each year, the NBA Playoffs attract a huge number of celebrities who cheer on for their favorite teams from their VIP seats. This time, it was Formula One’s own Champion racer Lewis Hamilton who was spotted enjoying the heated match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. And accompanying Lewis was none other than his close friend, the Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
Leo and Lewis have been longtime friends and even business associates. It is well-known that the Mercedes racer became a vegan in 2017, and since then, he has promoted veganism amongst his fans quite a few times. Putting his money where his mouth is, Lewis decided to invest in a vegan burger joint called Neat Burgers earlier this year. And Leonardo DiCaprio joined this venture as he has always been vocal about climate change and other environmental issues as well.
Since the Miami GP got over, the F1 racers have been enjoying a short break leading up to the Imola GP next week. Lewis has not been to his home, rather he was spotted out and about in the US, enjoying a boat party with Shakira and watching the NBA Playoffs with Leonardo DiCaprio. Seeing the seven-time World Champion enjoy basketball from his front-row seat, some fans have pointed out that he should focus on racing as he has failed to get a front row start at any of the Grands Prix of 2023.

Lewis Hamilton’s Hollywood movie with Brad Pitt has been the talk of the F1 town lately. As very little information about the film has been revealed till now, some people wonder if Lewis has managed to add yet another Oscar winner beside Pitt to his entourage–Leonardo DiCaprio. Leo is already a longtime friend of Lewis’ as the two are now building a burger joint franchise together.

In other news, Lewis’ outing at the Imola GP will be a crucial one as Mercedes are planning to bring some upgrades to amp up the W14’s performance. It remains to be seen whether the Silver Arrows will be able to grab a win in the upcoming races with Lewis Hamilton behind the wheels.
