The Formula 1 world is currently enjoying a break after the tumultuous 2023 season which saw Red Bull arise as the supreme power with their marqueé driver Max Verstappen and their ‘rocketship’ RB-19. While all the drivers are now busy indulging in their favorite activities during this time away from the racetracks, the fans have refused to back down from some drama. At first, they got involved in the drama surrounding Toto Wolff and the FIA investigation that was imposed upon the Wolffs, then they were keenly following the conspiracy theories surrounding Red Bull’s contract renewal with Helmut Marko.

There were many people who reckoned Marko will leave the Austrian outfit due to rumored power struggles between him and Christian Horner. But in the end, the Milton-Keynnes team decided to give their Chief Advisor another chance. And now that those rumors have come to an end, the Twitterati seem to be trying to kick up a storm by mentioning Red Bull‘s cost cap breach from 2021 because of a recent video that has gone viral.

In the clip that was posted by the official X handle of Autosport, a man could be seen sculpting an entire F1 car out of chocolate. While some of the fans did applaud the artist, Amaury Guichon, for his talent, others were busy pouring in their hilarious comments at the chocolate racecar. They made a reference to Christian Horner‘s viral comment that Red Bull surpassed the cost ceiling in 2021 because of their huge catering charges.

Fans believe the chocolate car would have higher speed than Ferrari’s 2023 machine

As the entire F1 community on X is flabbergasted at the sheer skills that Amaury Guichon has shown by making his life-sized chocolate racecar, they have drawn similarities between the sculpture and the red Ferrari SF-23. This is because both the cars have the same color on their liveries. But as far as performance is concerned, the fans feel that the chocolate car would surpass Ferrari’s SF-23 with ease.

The fans’ frustration with Ferrari’s racecar stems from the inability of the team to bring some good results as many of them had been expecting in 2023. The Scuderia appointed Vasseur as their new Team Principal at the start of the ’23 season, and he was supposed to make some radical changes to bring the Maranello outfit back to their winning ways. But in the end, Ferrari did not just lose the Championship title to Red Bull, but failed to even beat Mercedes to the 2nd spot on the Standings.

Here is what the fans have had to say about the chocolate F1 car:

While the fans might say the SF-23 is slower than a chocolate racecar, it must be remembered that it is with this car that Carlos Sainz managed to win the Singapore GP in 2023. With the resounding victory that the Spaniard managed to attain, he became the only non-Red Bull driver to win a race throughout the whole season.
