AlphaTauri have finally revealed the name the team will be going ahead with from 2024 onwards. This does not come as a surprise to the F1 fans who had been discussing what the new moniker of the Faenza outfit might be for quite some time ever since the last season ended. And there has also been several speculations in F1 town that the new name of AlphaTauri, which expands to Visa Cashapp Racing Bulls, has been directly inspired by their sister team Red Bull Racing. This indicates that there will be a closer bonds between the two teams in the upcoming years.

Red Bull captured the top spot in the Constructors’ Championship last season while AlphaTauri came up in the third-last spot. Thus, if Red Bull lends support to the Faenza team now, they will be able to perform better. And it has already been reported that AlphaTauri’s 2024 challenger will have the front suspension of Red Bull’s RB-19 which won Max Verstappen his World Championship title in 2023.

Thus, AlphaTauri has geared up for their 2024 debut as Visa Cashapp Racing Bulls in a completely new avatar with Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda racing for them. But the fans are not at all happy with the team name. Taking to social media, they have aired their opinions on how Racing Bulls seems to be a downgrade from the team’s previous names ‘AlphaTauri’ and ‘Toro Rosso’. And they also mentioned that the acronym of the team name, V-CARB, reminds them of hack diets.

Till 2019, AlphaTauri had been known as Scuderia Toro Rosso. But then, the team had a change in its name, and that continued till the end of 2023. In the next year, the Faenza outfit will sport a new moniker–but this time, their fans have not taken too kindly to the new name. The fans have posted all sorts of disdainful comments since they believe the person who came up with the name ‘Racing Bulls’ should be sacked from his job.

In other news, AlphaTauri will debut their new lineup of Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda in 2024. The pair did appear at some of the races last season, but Daniel’s wrist injury affected his Formula 1 comeback after McLaren prematurely terminating their deal with him. Now that the Aussie has gotten another chance to shine in F1, it remains to be seen.how he utilizes the opportunity in the upcoming season.
