Fernando Alonso has been the name that has been on everybody’s lips after the end of the Canadian qualifying as the Spaniard drove a scintillating lap in Q3 that got him up to P2 to start alongside the 24-year-old Max Verstappen.

Ferrari on the other hand has got Carlos Sainz behind the two in P3 and ahead of the Canadian GP, the Scuderia Ferrari fans have asked Alonso to do them a favor by keeping Max at bay during the upcoming race so that Sainz could swoop in and get the better of the Dutchman.

The Tifosi has been very vocal about the mouth-watering predicament on social media and one of their fans made his feelings clear by saying, “POV: Fernando still working for Ferrari,”

All the support for Alonso has come after the Spaniard indicated that he will go all-in during Turn 1 to get past and ahead of Max Verstappen.

Carlos Sainz is starting the race behind the two and the Ferrari fans believe that Alonso has got to help them because of his previous ties to Ferrari.

Fernando had an especially encouraging Friday.

The Ferrari fans are well aware of the gap that their team has to Red Bull in both the Championships and because of this want Max to tumble as low as possible on the grid.

For this to happen they have asked their former driver Alonso to get Max during Turn 1 so that Carlos Sainz can then look to get the better of the Dutchman.

However, Max is prolific when it comes to wheel-to-wheel battle and it is not going to be easy for the lights of Alonso and Sainz to go past the 2021 world champion.

Ferrari has got a serious job on its hands with their other driver starting from the back of the grid, the responsibility is going to be on Carlos Sainz to deliver a solid race for the team.

The Tifosi would like a Grand Prix win from their Spanish driver and it is going to be fascinating to see what Sainz would be able to pull out from his locker during the race. All the Tifosi’s eyes are going to be on him in Canada.
