Ferrari recruit Carlos Sainz has improved by a great extent in this season of F1 2022, and barring those races where his Ferrari F1-75 broke down due to engine reliability issues, he has been continuously seen aiming for the top positions in the grid. The former McLaren racer, who shifted to Ferrari in 2021, got his first-ever victory in Formula 1 in the British Grand Prix and he showed everyone that he is almost at par with Ferrari team leader Charles Leclerc in terms of skill and speed.

But during the race, there have been times when the two young talents have clashed with each other in a fight to capture the higher spot in the grid. In such cases, Ferrari has directed Carlos Sainz to let go off the position to Charles Leclerc as the Monegasque is the Maranello outfit’s strongest bet for winning this year’s WDC title. Now, most people would think this would not sit well with Carlos as he is an equally talented racer, but the Spaniard has made it clear that he values team orders more than his personal gain in a GP.

Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc are currently in quite a good form, with both racers repeatedly securing pole positions and coming in the top 3 during the Qualifiers. Ferrari’s reliability issues have not been kind of Sainz as he has lost three races in this season alone due to those problems.

While speaking on the topic of putting team orders first and personal gains second, Carlos Sainz assured all his fans that the team dynamics between him and his teammate Charles Leclerc is really good. He said, “It’s not easy. For me, the priority is always the team, and I think I made it very clear when I was told to let Charles through that I’m ready to give up my own interests for those of the team.”

Carlos continued, “It’s not easy. For me, the priority is always the team, and I think I made it very clear when I was told to let Charles through that I’m ready to give up my own interests for those of the team.”
