Many of Fernando’s fans are convinced that the two-time World Champion is extremely talented and he would have had a shot at winning even more titles had he gotten a seat at a stronger team because the car manufacturer’s influence mattered a lot in Formula 1. Fernando had always been keen on winning more and more Championship points, but in 2022, he was having no luck as his Alpine was simply not fast enough to keep up with the rival cars.

But in the Canadian Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso wowed everyone by securing a brilliant P2 start at the Main Race in Montreal after a thunderous performance at the Qualifying Session. Yet, to the dismay of the hundreds of thousands of Alonso fans, the Spaniard could not keep up his amazing performance streak on Sunday as he fell back in the ranks and finished with only two points in his name–in the P9 position.
