Mercedes might be more inclined towards Russell in the upcoming season. In Formula 1, teams usually focus on their long-term prospects rather than a driver who would leave the squad soon. However, Toto Wolff‘s squad will likely remain professional and give fair treatment to Lewis Hamilton and George Russell throughout 2024.

Certainly, George Russell would be looking to outperform Hamilton in the upcoming season. The 25-year-old would solidify himself as a potential future world champion if he manages to beat Lewis Hamilton in his final Mercedes season. As such, fans would be looking forward to seeing the battle between the two British drivers this season.
