“Good taste by Charles, the band rocks”: F1 fans approve as Charles Leclerc’s new Instagram post shows him posing with Mäneskin at a concert in Mexico

With the Mexican Grand Prix just around the corner, the F1 paddocks have already shifted to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City. And the F1 drivers, such as Charles Leclerc, have also started arriving for the second last round of racing for this year’s F1 2022 Championship. The winners of the two main awards for this season–the Drivers’ Championship and the Constructors’ Championship–have already been decided. But the fight is still on, between Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez for P2 in the WDC Standings.
At a time when the tension is high amongst the Tifosis and the Red Bull fans since only 2 points separate Leclerc and Perez in the points table, the Monegasque decided to relax a bit before the showdown in Mexico. Charles Leclerc went to visit a concert that took place in Mexico City, and the headlining artistes there were the members of the Italian rock band Mäneskin.
Excited and awestruck by Mäneskin’s performance, Charles Leclerc posted an Instagram story from the concert a few hours ago and the band’s official page reshared it. Then, Leclerc posted a photo of him with the four members of Mäneskin, and this photo started doing rounds on the internet and has now gone viral, with all the fans gawking at how the Ferrari racer mingled with the Roman musicians.

Founded in 2016, Mäneskin took over the world with their catchy songs when they won the Eurovision Song Contest for Italy in 2021. Since most of the viewers of Formula One are primarily European, it is no surprise that many F1 followers are also die-hard Mäneskin fans as well. So, when Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc posted a photo on his Instagram wall with the four members of Mäneskin, fans commented with remarks like, “It’s like my worlds collided here!”

In other news, Charles Leclerc has a big task ahead of him, and that is, to surpass Sergio Perez in the World Drivers’ rankings by the end of this season. While Leclerc always delivers impressive results on the Saturdays during the Qualifying Sessions, he fails to retain his starting grid advantage during the races. But now, he has to be absolutely clinical in his approach if he wants to secure the second spot in the World Championship Standings for himself.
