Latest Information on retired Sebastian Vettel from Red Bull Boss Helmut Marko
Red Bull’s Boss Helmut Marko and Sebastian Vettel
The leader of Red Bull’s driver development program and a former professional racer from Austria, Helmut Marko, currently serves as an advisor to the Formula One team. Since 1999, he has also been in charge of the Red Bull driver development program. Marko has guided racers into Formula One, including Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, and Max Verstappen. He has served as a consultant to the Red Bull Racing Formula One team since 2005, and from 2006.
After a string of successful races for Toro Rosso, Sebastian Vettel was named Mark Webber’s replacement for David Coulthard as a teammate for Red Bull Racing in 2009. Sebastian Vettel informed Red Bull Racing about his departure from the team at the conclusion of the 2014 season after eight Formula One World Championships, 44 pole positions, and 38 victories. When Sebastian Vettel revealed his departure from Red Bull after signing a contract agreement, the field was taken aback. It led to speculation that Vettel had joined Ferrari in violation of his contract.
As expected, Formula 1 fans speculated some tension. But according to reports, Vettel got along well with the crew and seemed right at home in the environment. Marko disclosed what happened to the German following his retirement and Formula 1. Marko acknowledged in a Sport1.de interview, “Yes. At the moment he has disappeared with the whole family in the Arctic. Take a vacation there. I think it will only be really approachable in March,” when questioned about his relationship with Vettel. Being a former driver himself, Marko and Vettel got along well at work, with Marko giving Vettel advice and support during his time with the team.

Sebastian Vettel’s plans after retirement
When Sebastian Vettel finished his farewell race and stepped out of his car, he was granted an interview in front of the main grandstand. Such interviews are normally only given to the top three finishers; thus, it was unusual. To be honest, the German driver said that he felt a little hollow. After the F1 season, Vettel’s plans for the future are still a mystery. He stated that he wasn’t in a rush to join another racing team and that he wanted to spend some time with his family before taking up any new venture.
Many fans believe that Extreme E would be the best series for Vettel to join if he decides to keep competing. The German’s love of the natural environment and the emphasis on raising awareness of climate change throughout the world fit together nicely. The far less rigorous schedule would still allow for more time with his family.
