Formula 1 is indeed a wildly dangerous sport and the racers who take part in it are known adrenaline junkies. Many of the drivers have openly admitted that they love the thrill of racing cars at an unimaginably fast speed on the winding tracks which have lethal turns every few meters. But they are all human beings with real fears that are often overlooked by the fans. In a recent podcast interview, Lewis Hamilton talked about what he fears the most on this planet and the Twitterati have all related to his response!

Lewis Hamilton is one of the most prominent Formula 1 racers in the current racing grid with seven World Championship titles to his name. Because of his masterful driving and larger-than-life fashion choices, he has achieved superstar status amongst the fans who love F1. In fact, he has repeatedly appeared on the list of the highest-paid athletes in the world, and thus, he has become internationally renowned. But the Mercedes racer has his own fears that he openly talked about in a podcast interview.

Only a few days ago, storyteller Jay Shetty hosted Lewis Hamilton for his newest podcast episode where the two discussed the 37-year-old’s career in F1. At one point, they talked about the long 15 years that Lewis has spent in this dangerous profession and how he has never felt any fear while taking part in F1. Then, Lewis Hamilton revealed what he is truly scared of–and the answer is quite surprising.

There have been many times that some rumors have done rounds in the F1 world about Lewis Hamilton checking the space under his bed at his hotel in Australia for spiders. Now, the Silver Arrow driver has confirmed his arachnophobia in Jay Shetty’s podcast. He said, “I’m terrified of spiders. That’s the only thing but when I’m doing 200 miles an hour, that’s actually when I’m most at peace, I would say.” Fans have found this very relatable and here is what they had to say about Lewis’ arachnophobia on Twitter–

On the other hand, Lewis Hamilton is going into the 2023 Formula 1 Championship with a new challenge. Last year, he was unable to achieve victory in a single Grand Prix throughout the season, so this time, he has to prove why he is worthy of those seven World Championship wins. But the path will not be easy for him as Max Verstappen and some of the other rivals are also vying for the top spot in the new Championship campaign. Now, it only remains to be seen who gets the last laugh.
