“House of GOATs,” Roger Federer spotted in Mercedes garage with Lewis Hamilton ahead of Spanish GP qualifying

On a sunny Saturday morning in Barcelona, the Qualifying Session for the Spanish Grand Prix started off, marking the sixth round of the Formula 1 2022 season. And keeping in pace with the Miami Grand Prix, fans could spot some celebrity guests in the F1 paddocks this time too.
Just while Lewis Hamilton was preparing to set his lap time during the Q1 of the Spanish Grand Prix Qualis, the fans spotted Roger Federer in the Mercedes garage, looking at the proceedings with utmost interest.
This is not the first time that the Swiss tennis champion has appeared in the F1 paddocks during a race weekend. He went to his first F1 race ever in 2016, at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, when Lewis Hamilton and teammate Nico Rosberg battled it out for winning the World Championship.

Roger Federer makes an appearance at the Mercedes garage during the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix Qualifiers
Tennis superstar Roger Federer was spotted by the amazed fans as Lewis Hamilton’s W13 left the Mercedes garage to set his own lap time in the Qualis in the Spanish Grand Prix 2022. As soon as King Roger made his appearance, F1 Twitter went into a frenzy, with several pictures of 20-time-Grand-Slam-winner sitting in the Mercedes garage, watching the Qualis.

Not only did Roger Federer appear at the Mercedes garage to show his support for the team during the Spanish Grand Prix Qualifying Session, but he also posed for a quick photos with the two Mercedes racers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, just before they went off for the Qualis. Mercedes’ official Twitter admin posted the picture on their wall, with the caption: “Great to have you with us for Quali, Roger!”
