Here is what the Red Bull driver had to say. “I am excited to get back to racing this week. Not racing in Imola was the right decision and I know it was not taken lightly but some things are obviously more important than racing and this was one of those occasions. The race is usually heavily dependent on the strategy as overtaking is almost impossible. And of course, I live in Monaco so it’s nice to go home every evening during the Grand Prix weekend,” he concluded.

Max Verstappen has not had the best of luck at Monaco. Apart from his victory in 2021, there is not much left to applaud the F1 champ’s talents in the French rivera. Red Bull has made an absolute monster for 2023 and Monaco will be a testament to see how fast it can go around the small streets. Fernando Alonso also won’t be too far off from the pack and could be a strong contender for victory at the principality.
