Lando Norris was signed as a McLaren junior in 2017 and was then promoted to the senior team, two years later, at the tender age of just 19 years.

Moreover, the Brit during his time together with Daniel Ricciardo was completely able to overshadow the exploits of the Australian.

In recent years, there has been a massive rise in the stock of Norris as an F1 racer, and evidence of this was seen during this year’s campaign where he proved himself to be the best among the rest.

The Briton racked up an impressive 122 points during the 2022 season, and his achievement was made more significant by the fact that he achieved everything in an average MCL36.

Zak Brown is in awe of the exploits of Norris and while praising him, he added, “The goal was always to get him into Formula 1. I’m not surprised that he’s made it.”

I guess you are surprised when it actually happens, but every step along the way gave me a reason to believe the next step he was going to be great.”

But we’ve seen drivers that have been great along the way. And then when they get to the top, you don’t know if it was them or the situation.
