When Vettel was only a newbie to the F1 paddocks, Mick’s father, the legendary seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher had held his hands as he learnt to steer through the world of motorsports.

Now, the times have changed. At 35, Sebastian Vettel decided to step down from his role as a regular F1 racer, and it has been two years since Michael’s son Mick Schumacher made his debut on the F1 racetracks. Unfortunately, the young Schumacher could not get a seat at any of the teams in 2023, and thus he will have to sit out and act as the Mercedes reserve driver.
