Mercedes AMG F1 team has become the latest team on the grid to reveal their car launch date for the upcoming season. After waiting for months, fans will finally get a taste of Formula One action as the usual pre season activities will commence. After going’s through what could be their toughest season in recent years, the team will be charged up to make 2023 their year of reckoning.
After losing the driver’s world championship title to Max Verstappen in 2021, it seemed like Mercedes would be in a fired up position to dominate the sport during the 2022 season. However, the new rules and regulations along with issues such as porpoising put them in a tough situation. This was the first season in Lewis Hamilton’s career where he couldn’t achieve a single race win.
On the other hand, teammate George Russell went on to win his maiden grand prix in Brazil. Moving onto the car reveal, Mercedes will be launching their 2023 F1 challenger on 15th February. After Valentine’s day on 14th, the car reveal day also happens to be even more special for George as it is his birthday. It seems like the whole event was planned around the Mercedes driver’s special day.

After a tough 2022 season, Mercedes will be more than ready to make 2023 their biggest every comeback. The duo of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton proved that the team can work well together even during times of despair. In turn, it had strengthened the team even more as the fans dawn upon the upcoming season. Expectations are high and so are the pressure levels imposed on these two pilots.
