Fernando Alonso is one of the most experienced faces in F1. Being in the sport since 2001, he carries the experience of over 20 years behind the steering wheel, and definitely is an amazing driver, afterall, he has been the World Champion twice in 2005 and 2006, which brought an end to Michael Schumacher’s streak of 5 consecutive World Championship wins. The driver recently made his return on the field with the Alpine F1 team, and after a few races of warmup, he proved out to still carry the charisma of his years in the motorsport industry.

The Spaniard recently shocked everyone at the Canadian Grand Prix; in the treacherous driving conditions during the qualifying, Alonso managed to set a lap fast enough to put him on the front row, along with Max Verstappen, who was on pole. His drive was amazing, except for the part that his car faced some issues and saw him go down to 7th during the race. Jacques Villeneuve, former F1 driver and 1997 World Champion, praised Fernando after seeing his amazing performance in the races. Despite having a mid-field car, Alonso managed to put himself up against the much faster cars, and we even witnessed it last year after he managed to score a podium at the Qatar GP.
