Max Verstappen has been sparkling his magic at the pinnacle of motor racing since 2015. He has honed his skills year after year and today, he is considered one of the best drivers to ever step foot into the world of F1. His father, Jos Verstappen, being a former F1 driver himself, has admitted that he enjoys a lot seeing his son race.

Jos Verstappen competed in F1 on an off-and-on basis between 1994-2003. During that time, he competed in the sport for several teams and managed to amass 106 starts. However, Verstappen was only able to score two podium finishes during his start-stop F1 career.

while Jos did not have the best of times in the sport during his racing days, he has made it known that he feels excited seeing his son race.

Looking at the reaction of the 51-year-old, it is quite clear that he really admires seeing Max Verstappen doing his thing at the pinnacle of motor racing. Max has won three consecutive world championships since the 2021 season and his most recent triumph was his most dominant one.

While Max Verstappen has already amassed three world championships, the way he is going he could amass quite a few more titles by the time he decides to call it a day in the sport. As things stand, Verstappen is currently only 26 years old and has several years ahead of him.

Moreover, keeping in view how well Red Bull has performed under the current set of regulations, there is a very good chance that he could amass at least two more work titles by the time 2026 comes around. His caliber as a racing driver is also something that sets him apart on the modern F1 grid.

Max Verstappen is seen by many as the hottest property at the pinnacle of motor racing. Seeing how well he has performed especially since 2021, several pundits of the sport have already deemed him to be the driver who could break Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton’s world championships record.
