Christian Horner has been the center of attention in the F1 paddock for the past couple of weeks. The 50-year-old faced controversy with a massive evidence leak just hours after he was cleared of inappropriate behavior allegations. Horner reportedly suspects that a mole within Red Bull was the mastermind behind this leak. Now, Max Verstappen‘s father Jos Verstappen has reaffirmed his position.

Jos Verstappen recently had an outburst on Christian Horner. The ex-F1 driver claimed that Red Bull was at risk of being torn apart if the Briton was not removed from the team. So much so, that the 51-year-old claimed that Horner was playing the victim card.

The former F1 driver was asked if he was behind the alleged evidence leak. Jos Verstappen firmly denied the claims. The 51-year-old reckoned that such an act would not make sense for him considering Max Verstappen’s incredible success with Red Bull Racing.

However, it must be noted that Jos Verstappen reportedly had a fallout with Christian Horner. Moreover, it was rumored that the tensions within the team led to Verstappen potentially leaking the investigation news to Dutch media. However, Horner has repeatedly denied such claims.

Christian Horner facing trouble from all sides after alleged evidence leak

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem has ruled out any action on the Briton for now. However, things could change in the future. Although, Christian Horner seemingly has the support of his wife Geri Halliwell. Halliwell even kissed Horner publicly before the start of the Bahrain GP after rumors of tensions in their marriage.

Christian Horner will continue to face questions over the current situation for the time being. The Red Bull team boss has urged fans to move on as the verdict has been released. However, there has been no official confirmation of the alleged evidence leak by any party involved in the case. As such, it remains to be seen how things pan out for Horner in the coming days.
