Kelly Piquet has become a substantial figure in the F1 paddock. Having previously been in a relationship with Ex-F1 driver Daniil Kvyat. The pair also had a child of your own back then. Currently, the Brazilian supermodel is in a relationship with 2 time F1 world champion Max Verstappen. The pair have been photographed frequently and it’s clear that the pair love each other’s company. 

Kelly Piquet garnered quite the reach on social media as she became Max Verstappen’s girlfriend. Recently, Kelly was featured on the front cover of the Vogue Netherlands magazine issue. The Brazilian can be seen wearing a helmet and racing overalls. It’s clear that Max and Kelly are serious about their relationship with the latter being with Verstappen all throughout his two title winning seasons.

Recently, Nelson Piquet was under fire from the motorsport community as an interview resurfaced where he called Lewis Hamilton a racist term. This also led to him being banned from the F1 paddock. His daughter Kelly Piquet was also caught in the fire as she liked a post on Instagram that defended her father. In her interview with Vogue, she had some very interesting things to say about her father and her boyfriend.

Here is what the Brazilian had to say in her interview with the Dutch magazine. “What I really like is that he knows what he wants and he is not afraid to say it. He is confident and not interested in fame or material things,” she said. “We have a lot in common, are bon vivants. I realise more and more how similar he is to my father,” she continued.

“I was always very involved in my brother’s career. I’ve experienced the ups and downs, seen what pressure does to someone. This world is so familiar to me, I know what those guys go through,” she concluded. Things have been pretty baffling lately for the Piquet family. 

With Kelly’s father also being a F1 driver, she has gotten a first hand experience of how they function on and off the track. This can explain how she was able to see the similarities between her dad and her lover. Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet are going strong in their relationship and will enter the 2023 F1 season hand in hand. Kelly will be rooting for her boyfriend to bring yet another title home.
