With the summer break looming ahead of the F1 teams, this was their last chance to scrounge all the points that they could manage for a favorable position in the Championship table. And sadly, it seems that Ferrari simply tanked at their job as they could not even fetch a single podium place for either of their talented drivers even when Carlos Sainz started the race from the second spot and Charles Leclerc started from P3 right behind him.

As there are only ten races to look forward to in this season of Formula 1 2022, it is becoming more and more blaringly evident that Ferrari do not even stand a chance to win the Constructors’ Championship or even the WDC for Charles Leclerc because Red Bull is always going to be in their way.

The Scuderia have shown how flawed their team strategy is as they let go of yet another golden chance of putting their drivers in the podium places while Red Bull planned excellently and made sure Max Verstappen, who started the race from tenth on the grid, ultimately got the Hungarian GP victory, by the time the chequered flags announced the end of the race.
