Lewis Hamilton could be getting a new tattoo for 2023
Lewis Hamilton is a formidable name in Formula 1, bagging the most wins in the sport’s history. The F1 star is also a person of style. Hamilton has impressed the fans via not only his driving but also his fashion sense. The 37-year-old is famous for his tattoos in the paddock, including many with a spiritual significance. Thus it comes as no surprise when he was spotted with a renowned tattoo artist, possibly getting another part of himself inked.
Recently, Tattoo master of New York City, Keith Hernandez posted a picture of Lewis Hamilton at his studio on Instagram. The picture depicts the 7-time F1 champion looking at the camera while Keith seems to be working his needle on Lewis’s thigh. Hernandez put the caption, “@lewishamilton = ?.” Which might appear to be an indication of Hamilton getting a goat tattoo. But that is just an assumption.
Neither Lewis Hamilton nor Keith Hernandez have revealed plans for the Brit on getting a new tattoo. However, the scenario does paint quite a picture. Hamilton is at Hernandez’s tattoo studio and the post sure does make it seem like Keith is in the process of tattooing something on Lewis’s thigh or legs. Certainly, it would be exciting to see which new body art the Brit gets this time and the meaning behind it.

Does Lewis Hamilton supposedly head for 2023 with a new tattoo?
If it is true that Hamilton is getting a new tattoo, the timing seems perfect for it. Lewis Hamilton has finished off a rough 2022 F1 season with Mercedes after getting outperformed by teammate George Russell. Lewis has spent a good few weeks in the winter break so far. The start of the new year might be the start of Lewis’s ambitions for the oncoming season as the 37-year-old looks to go back to winning ways. The Brit perhaps could be getting this tattoo as a way to increase his hunger for winning.
Lewis Hamilton has several tattoos. Including the F1 driver’s motivational phrase, ‘Still I Rise’ which is present across Lewis’ shoulder blades, inspired by the late rapper Tupac. Hamilton also has a face of a lion on his chest which symbolizes Lewis’s feeling of being a ferocious lion at his heart. The 37-year-old also has body art which is a direct nod to his family and his faith, with one bearing the words, ‘God is Love.’
As such it would be correct to assume that Lewis Hamilton’s latest tattoo will also have a deep meaning behind it. Something which the 37-year-old put great thought into. Although no confirmations have been made, it does appear that Lewis will head into the new year with a bang, delighting his fans with another emotional symbol on his body, We certainly cannot wait to see the artistry of Keith Hernandez and see what Lewis has in store for us.
