The Mercedes driver revealed that he hadn’t held discussions with any team other than the Silver Arrows, including Fred Vasseur-led Ferrari. The 38-year-old was confident that an announcement could be made soon about his future stay at Brackley. He said, “No, I haven’t (had contact with other teams). It’s just figuring out the small details, so hopefully soon it will be done.”

Lewis Hamilton made it clear that he was not tempted by the idea of joining another team. The 7-time world champion has been a mainstay at Mercedes for over a decade and achieved record-breaking success with the team. It is no surprise that the 38-year-old finds himself attached to the German team and wants to continue on this journey that began way back in 2013.

Thus, Lewis Hamilton has finally ended the rumors about potentially joining Ferrari. The 7-time world champion has expressed his desire to continue with the Silver Arrows with contract negotiations entering the final stage. The Tifosi will be disappointed to hear that Hamilton will not be racing in red for the foreseeable future.
