Lewis Hamilton emerges as fifth most charitable person in UK with donations worth nearly $25 million

Being one of the most successful F1 racers of all time has its own responsibilities that Lewis Hamilton has been performing through his various organisations and philanthropic foundations. The seven-time F1 World Champion has been hailed as one of the highest paid atheletes in the world by Forbes in the last decade, thanks to his multi-million dollar contracts with the Mercedes AMG Patronas team.
Being the only person of colour to ever get a super license to join Formula 1, Lewis has been vocal about inclusivity in the elite class of motorsports. His Lewis Hamilton Foundation has played a crucial role in addressing various discriminations with Black children often face in scholastic, sports, and other fields in the UK. Towards the end of January, 2022, Hamilton joined hands with Sky Sports for a two-year partnership which will tackle systemic racism in the schools of the United Kingdom.
Because of all the philanthropic activities that Lewis Hamilton and his foundation has carried out for the greater good of young children, the British racer has been named as one of the most charitable persons in all of Britain.

As per the recent reports, Mercedes racer Lewis Hamilton has donated a total amount of 25 million dollars from his net worth of 360 million dollars towards various philanthropic associations for the upliftment of the Black communities by giving them financial and educational aid. His foundation has supported numerous persons of colour to move into a career in F1 so that the sport becomes more inclusive towards the backward communities in the society.
According to the Sunday Times Giving List, Lewis Hamilton is currently fifth in the list of the most charitable persons in Britain, after prominent personalities like Sir Paul Marshall, Alan Parker, and Lord Edmiston.
