Neymar and Lewis Hamilton share an extremely close bond with each other.

The first race of the 2024 F1 season is done and dusted. While the on-track action was pretty average courtesy of Max Verstappen‘s dominance, the celebrities from all over the world did not hold back from showing up for the marquee event.
One of the stars that was amassing massive attention ahead of the Bahrain GP was the former Barcelona/current Al-Hilal player, Neymar. He was seen strolling up and down in the paddock and on the grid, he shared a wholesome moment with the former seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton.

The two huge personalities hugged each other and shared a very brief conversation. The clip of the two has gone viral all over the globe and fans from both F1 and soccer, have been showering their love.

While celebrities are often seen adding additional stars to a Grand Prix weekend by showing up for the races, Neymar is one player, who is regularly seen in the paddock. During the 2023 season, the Brazilian was seen at quite a few race weekends.
Lewis Hamilton had a challenging outing at the Bahrain GP
While Lewis Hamilton and Neymar shared a wholesome moment ahead of the 57-lap Bahrain GP, the former had a pretty timid outing during the race. Despite his best efforts behind the wheel of the Mercedes W15, he was only able to manage a seventh-place finish behind McLaren’s Lando Norris.

Hamilton’s teammate, George Russell, also did not have the best of outings as despite starting the race from third place, he slipped down and ended his exploits in fifth position. While the Brackley-based team struggled, their arch-rivals, Red Bull, secured a dominant 1-2 finish.

Next up on the F1 calendar is the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is well known for its free-flowing nature and considering this, it will be fascinating to see what kind of car setup Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will run during next week’s event. The two Brits will most definitely look for a better outing than Bahrain.
