After winning multiple world title with ease over the last few years, the 2022 F1 season was a kick in the stomach for Lewis Hamilton as he struggled to fight for the frontal positions. Back during the pre-season testing days, Mercedes had come with a car with no side pods. It was a design that was poised to wipe out the competition after their embarrassing defeat in Abu Dhabi the year before.

This however did not seem to be the case as the car did not have the pace to win races at the start of the season. Lewis Hamilton has won a F1 race in every season that he had competed in this sport which is a record that he holds. It seems like this will be the year that the 7 time world champion’s crazy record will finally come to a stop and set the bar for others. Lewis has had to face a lot of pressure this season in the name of George Russell who is pushing him to the limit.

Although not all is bad for the 7 time world champion as F1 has entered into a mini break with the Singapore GP being held on 2nd October which will be next month. Lewis Hamilton posted an update on his social media which was very wholesome and melted a lot of hearts. He shared what he was up to in his free time with multiple pictures and a sweet caption. The 7 time world champion revealed that he had been watching Buzz Lightyear with his nephew and niece as they hung out together. “Picked my niece and nephew up from school, hugged them tight, watched Buzz Lightyear, best days. So proud of them,” Lewis Hamilton said in his Instagram post.

Lewis is currently sitting in 6th place in the driver’s championship ahead of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz while his teammate George Russell sits in 4th place with 203 points. It will be necessary for the 7 time world champion to make a final push in the remaining few races if he wants to beat his teammate this season. It is all to play for from now on and every point will be crucial for the team in their efforts to possibly beat Ferrari in the Constructors Championship.
