Lewis Hamilton shares the world record for most world championships won by a single driver, sharing the honor at seven along with Michael Schumacher. The Briton won six of his titles with Mercedes and one in his second F1 season in 2008 with McLaren.

However, when asked about his favorite F1 car of all time, the 39-year-old did not pick any of the machinery he drove. Hamilton instead picked the famous MP4/4 maneuvered to an infamous championship win in 1988 by his childhood hero, Ayrton Senna. The technological masterpiece took victory in every single race but one in the 19 races it competed in.

Probably my favourite one was driving Ayrton Senna's MP4/4. I think the cars back then were a lot less aero efficient. It was more like a go-kart back then, because they literally had big huge tyres with mechanical grip.
Hamilton said, as reported by crash.net

Hamilton has many championship-winning cars that were more dominant than any of their counterparts as well. One of the more dominant challengers is the W11, the 2020 car that lost only 4 races in the season. Another hugely successful vehicle is the W07 Hybrid used in the 2016 season, unable to win only two races in the season spanning 21 races.

Hamilton has always been dedicated to more than just his F1 career, an aspect criticized by AlphaTauri manager Graham Watson. Watson claimed Hamilton was more of a “brand” than a Formula 1 driver, saying that Max Verstappen was more of an F1 driver.

Lewis Hamilton is very talented, but is involved in so many things that people wonder: is he a Formula 1 driver or not? He’s associated with so many other things. Lewis Hamilton is a brand, Max Verstappen is a Formula 1 driver. And that won’t change.
Graham Watson said, as reported by PlanetF1

Hamilton holds the record for most race victories in Formula 1 at 103 but has failed to increase that number since 2021. The septuple champion will be hoping to catch up to his Dutch counterpart in 2024 with an upgraded W15.
