“Life-long relationship,” Fans amused as Mercedes announces their ties with Petronas till 2026
Mercedes and Petronas
Mercedes is to continue their Title and Technical Partnership with Petronas even after the 2026 season. Mercedes since the start fo their stint in Formula 1 is in terms with Petronas. Petronas is a fuel company in Malaysia that has been sponsoring the Silver arrows for a long time. The trust brought both parties a healthy lifestyle with 8 titles in their bag.
Mercedes started off with a decent-looking car and continued with it for four such years. But things changed after 2013 with a new era of hybrid engines being introduced. Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton the two teammates brought the glory to the Petronas-powered team. The terms between the party since have been straightforward and healthy. It’s safe to say now that things will stay healthy for years to come even after 2026.
“We are delighted to announce the renewal of the Title and Technical Partnership between the Team and @PETRONAS from the 2026 season onwards,” announced Mercedes.
