Max Verstappen is undoubtedly one of the most talented Formula 1 racers in the history of this sport. After entering the pinnacle of motorsports as an AlphaTauri racer, the Dutchman quickly made his way into Red Bull–one of the top 3 teams of the recent times. Ever since then, the young racer has been virtually unstoppable, and in 2021, he left all his critics flabbergasted as he proved his mettle by going up against eight-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
As of now, at only 25 years of age, Max Verstappen is the winner of the 2021 F1 World Championship, and is on his way to securing the title for a second time this year. Verstappen has a lead of 116 points over his nearest competitor–Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, and this only shows the beast-like abilities that Max Verstappen possesses, when it comes to driving his Red Bull to the top of the grid.
During the course of his F1 career which began in 2015, Verstappen has collected many laurels for his formidable driving skills, but the young racer has a lot more to achieve. He has won 31 races–30 of them are in the 31 different circuits that he has been to–and this statistical detail is now making people wonder if Verstappen would surpass Lewis and Michael Schumacher’s records of winning the highest number of F1 Grands Prix.
Some believe Max Verstappen will break many of Lewis Hamilton’s records
In the last two years, Max Verstappen has been a force of Nature to reckon with, when it comes to winning Grands Prix. When he first began his campaign to defend his World title this year, Verstappen did come across some DNFs due to engine issues with his car. But thankfully, Red Bull was able to fix all the shortcomings in their RB-18 to give Verstappen the car he deserves.

In the current season, Verstappen has 9 race wins in total. His Grand Prix win tally is currently at a whopping 31, and F1 pundits believe he will have 20-30 more victories in the next couple of seasons. And as Verstappen is only 25, he has got a decade left in this sport, and thus, he might achieve greater feats than Lewis ever did.
