Nico Rosberg, who was Lewis Hamilton‘s teammate at Mercedes during their intense rivalry from the 2013 season, shed light on the first-lap incident involving both Mercedes at the start of the Qatar Grand Prix. According to Rosberg, Hamilton is the only culprit behind the ugly accident involving car numbers #44 and #63. Rosberg criticized the seven-time World Champion and shared his ideas of Hamilton being reprimanded by the Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff.
Hamilton has already publicly apologized to his teammate George Russell and his entire team for an accident most F1 pundits deem a “racing incident”. However, crashing with his own teammates is something the Brit is not new to. He has been found banging wheels and involving himself in even bigger accidents with his competitive teammates like Rosberg himself.
The German’s statements read, as reported by soymotor.com, “It’s Hamilton’s fault and he should get a reprimand from Wolff.” The 2016 F1 World Champion continued to totally dump the blame on Hamilton, further saying, “Seeing Lewis apologize is something that doesn’t happen often. In this case, the fault is clearly Lewis’.” Rosberg also tried to remind Wolff how the team worked when former F1 driver and Champion Niki Lauda used to be the team’s mediator.
“It’s a shame Niki isn’t with us anymore, as when something like that happened, he was the first to act as a mediator,” he continued. “When Niki was with us in this world, Lewis and I had to face him. He always tried to mediate. And he gets the best for both of us. So, he should receive a reprimand from Toto.”

Nico Rosberg continues his praise for the now three-time World Champion Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen, who is having an incredibly unbeatable season at Reb Bull won his third World Championship in a row at the end of the Qatar GP Sprint. Nico Rosberg shares his congratulations through Sky Sports Germany. He said that he sees enormous similarities between Hamilton and Verstappen when it comes to finding the car’s maximum speed. But considers the Dutchman to be more aggressive.

The German already puts the newly crowned Champion with the former F1 legends like Schumacher and Senna saying, “We are witnessing absolute greatness. Max is already close to the best of all time like Lewis, Michael, Fangio, or Senna. The level at which he is performing, his consistency, and his precision are incredible.”
Rosberg believes the Dutchman is not going to stop now. At least not until the F1 regulation changes in 2026. He sees Verstappen as a self-made legend who will continue to dominate the sport in the times coming.
