The popularity of Formula 1 has seen a massive boom across the pond in the United States. And the FIA have found the perfect opportunity to cash in on this rising fame by introducing a couple of new Grands Prix in the US soil. This concept by the governing body of the F1 franchise has enjoyed widespread favorable reception ever since it was announced that new races are going to be held in Miami and Las Vegas. Earlier, it was only the US Grand Prix held at the Circuit of the Americas, but now, a total of three races are going to be held in the United States from this year onwards–and the fans simply cannot seem to get enough of them.

Only last year, the Miami Grand Prix made its debut on the F1 calendar, and it was a huge success. Both the Miami GP as well as the US GP became two of the most-viewed sports experiences in the States in 2022. And while riding on a high for this success, the FIA are now armed with yet another Grand Prix to be held in the American City of Las Vegas. The craze for this race has been so infectious that the tickets reached sky-high prices and still they were all sold-out before most fans could access them.

Now, the CEO of the Las Vegas GP, Renee Wilm, has shared the general consensus among the people, according to the initial feedback that they have gathered. She said, “Our fans are not happy we don’t have more general admission.” Wilm has also indicated that in the near future, the Las Vegas GP will become an even bigger phenomenon with more general admission tickets for all the viewers who want to experience the race in the Sin City.

Las Vegas Grand Prix

The Las Vegas GP is scheduled to take place for the first time ever during the third weekend of November. Considering the fact that the debut event has not yet taken place, most people would guess that the organizers would not have yet made any plans on how to expand the future editions of the Grand Prix. But in this case, Las Vegas Grand Prix CEO Renee Wilm said, “We want to create just the most incredible fan experience we can and also create a great track for the drivers.”

She went on, “Early feedback is we need more general admission – our fans are not happy we don’t have more general admission. That is something that we’re going to address in follow-on years. But I think at this point all we can do is head down, work hard and look forward to what’s to come.

If all works out, then the Las Vegas GP will be the biggest Formula 1 Grand Prix in the history of the sport, and many celebrities are also expected to visit Vegas during November to become a part of this lavish affair.
