Max Verstappen clinched the Pole position at the British GP. The two-time world champion annihilated the competition for the fifth time in a row to secure his spot at the front of the grid. The Dutch driver will start the British GP from Pole with McLaren’s Lando Norris in the front row, with Oscar Piastri rounding up the top 3. Another famous sportsperson awarded Verstappen the Pole position trophy.

Argentine Football star Paulo Dybala presented the two-time world champion with the Pirelli pole position award after Qualifying. The two sportspersons are one of the finest talents in their respective fields. It was a delight for fans to witness Max Verstappen and Dybala share the stage for the Pole position award, with the two exchanging a few words.

Paulo Dybala was part of the Argentine squad that emerged victorious at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The 29-year-old plays for Series A club A.S. Roma as well and has been the leading player of the team since joining them from Juventus. Certainly, the Football star was happy to get the opportunity to give Max Verstappen the pole position trophy.

The two-time world champion clinched his fifth pole position this weekend. While Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez failed to get out of Q1 this time around at Silverstone. As such, it seems that the Dutch driver might once again have an easy drive on Sunday as he tries to bag his eighth win of in just ten rounds of the season.

Qualifying did have a surprise as McLaren managed to be the best of the rest behind Max Verstappen. The Woking-based team has brought significant upgrades in recent rounds and might pose a challenge to the Dutch driver in the race. Although, it is evident that Verstappen and Red Bull remain the fastest car on the grid with a comfortable lead to rivals.

Thus, Paulo Dybala appeared at the British GP after Qualifying to award Max Verstappen. Certainly, it was a great spectacle for fans who would love to see more sportspersons have the opportunity to grace the F1 paddock. Verstappen would now be looking to shift his focus on securing another race win tomorrow.
