Max Verstappen is presently the driver to beat in Formula 1. Max dominated the 2022 F1 season with Red Bull Racing as the Dutchman went on to win 15 races in a single season. The most for any driver in history. Consequently, Verstappen is already considered an all-time great despite being only 25 years old. This can be credited to Max’s F1 debut in 2015 when he was 17 years old.

Max Verstappen remains the youngest driver to race in Formula 1. Since Verstappen was not even 18 while racing in his first Grand Prix. It is understood that the Dutchman could not drive on public roads. However, this came as a surprise to Max’s Red Bull teammate, Sergio Perez. Perez was astonished to hear that Verstappen did not have a driver’s license despite becoming a Formula 1 driver.

Although, this was simply a joke and Checo would not have actually brought a license for a 17-year-old Max.

Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen were delighted at the 2023 Red Bull season launch in New York City. The Austrian announced it’s much anticipated, partnership with Ford Motor Company for F1 Power Units from 2026. However, the event also showcased the RB19 livery for this season. Unfortunately, fans were disappointed to see another version of the ‘Modern Classic’ Red Bull design.

Although, no matter how the car looks, it’s the performance that matters. Red Bull Racing comes off the bat with two back-to-back Drivers’ titles with Max Verstappen and the 2022 Constructors’ championship. Thus, expectations are high for the Austrian squad to continue on its recent success. However, this season might not be smooth sailing for Verstappen or Perez as Mercedes and Ferrari aim to upset the status quo.

Thus, the 2023 F1 season might be the most exciting one in recent times. Max Verstappen is hungry as ever to win his third consecutive title in Formula 1. While Sergio Perez seeks to prove his worth as an equal driver and fight for the title. Fans hope to see the Milton Keynes-based team be a force to be reckoned with for another year.
