Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have had an interesting relationship so far as teammates. While the former goes on to achieve success each and every weekend, the latter seems to be struggling a lot. Perez was right there to support Max in his 2021 title fight with Lewis Hamilton. During the last race, Max went on to take advantage of a situation created by race director Micheal Masi which made it possible for him to beat Lewis.
By doing so, he not only won the race but also his first F1 world title. However, the way he won it still remains as a controversial topic and is up for debate. Many fans believe that Lewis Hamilton was robbed of a title in what was a weird ending to that race at Yas Marina. Vampire Diaries actress Claire Holt has also joined into the hate train against the Dutchman.
Claire even went on to state that she wants to see Max Verstappen lose the current championship. The Hollywood star recently did a Q/A session on her Instagram stories where fans asked about her thoughts on the RB driver’s championship fight. To that she said “I’m tired of Max winning all the time. Also I think he’s a grouchy baby and I’d like Checo to kick his ass.”

For her comments for the same, Clair Holt received a lot of hate to which she responded by making a post. What was even crazier was the fact that Sergio Perez’s wife, Carola even went on to like the post on Instagram. There has already been some issues between Max and Sergio in recent times and acts like these seem to spice up the whole situation.
Max Verstappen currently leads the 2023 F1 world championship whilst teammate Sergio Perez is trying to defend 2nd position from Fernando Alonso. While Max is showcasing a truly dominant form, Sergio Perez is struggling a lot which has raised questions about his future at Red Bull. It is clear that the team has made Max as their soldier to march toward victory. It’s just a question of whether Sergio or Daniel will be by his side in his fight for yet another title.
