Lewis Hamilton focuses on diversifying the cast and crew of his Hollywood movie that will focus on F1
Lewis Hamilton speaks about his F1-based movie that is still in the making at the time of reporting this. The story for the movie will be based upon an F1 veteran who comes out of retirement to return to the racetrack in order to help guide a youngster who wants to make it big in this sport.
Formula 1 was considered to be a very reclusive sport, meant only for the elite, till a few years ago. But then, the Liberty Media bought the ownership of F1 and brought in some all-round changes to make the sport more available to the larger mass. Now, with the release of the widely popular Netflix series Drive to Survive, Formula 1 has achieved a popularity bump throughout the entire world. Thus, it seems to be the perfect chance to cash in on this popularity and make a Hollywood film that is purely focused on racing in F1.
Speaking on this passion project, Lewis Hamilton has said, “My responsibility & something I take on is making sure that the cast and the crew is diverse..And making sure that we really keep the real heritage and the true racing spirit within the movie, & within the script.”
