“This is us!”: Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz join Perez and Verstappen to watch YouTuber Connor Moore’s viral sketches on all the F1 racers
Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen
If one goes around the F1 paddocks, they will surely find the camaraderie between the rival drivers absolutely amazing since Formula 1 is one of the only sports where the dynamics between the racers is so friendly. No matter how the Netflix series Drive to Survive had tried to show the competitiveness between the racers as a hostile rivalry, the truth is all the drivers just like to have a fun time with each other whenever they get some respite from racing.
In the current season of the 2022 F1 Championship, the Ferrari racers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz started off their campaign with some great performance in their F1-75’s, while Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez soon caught up with their rivals as the RB-18 was upgraded to deal with the many reliability issues that had affected their initial few races.
Now, the present situation shows that Max Verstappen has taken over the lead of the WDC Standings from early frontrunner Charles Leclerc, and Carlos Sainz is down in the fifth position, as he was surpassed by both Checo Perez and George Russell. But all this competition is saved only for the race tracks. Beyond the circuit, the racers always indulge in fun activities with each other, no matter how many points separate them from each other in the World Championship table.

When work of Connor Moore’s videos reached the publicity team of Formula 1, they decided to get Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz together with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez for a fun reaction video where they watch Moore doing a mimicry of them on YouTube. And while reacting to it, Sergio Perez exclaims, “This is us!”
The video was shot right before the Monaco Grand Prix kicked off where pole-sitter Charles Leclerc was overtaken by Sergio Perez, who became the race winner, while his teammate Max Verstappen got P3. Merc driver George Russell snatched the second position in the race.
