Turkey earthquakes cause the death of a Tifosi father-daughter duo, Charles Leclerc reacts

Earlier this week, a slew of devastating earthquakes rocked Turkey and Syria, and caused the death of many people and injured many more. Governments from the countries all around the world have already announced the aid that they have assigned to the victim nations and many not-for-profit organizations have also started collecting funds to help the search operations which are still going on as many people are still trapped under the debris which resulted from the earthquakes.

Recent news have all been about the ravaging earthquakes that shook Turkey and Syria to the core, resulting in thousands of casualties. As the number of dead bodies keeps rising with each passing hour, it has been discovered that the adorable Tifosi father-daughter duo, who were a part of the Turkish Ferrari Fanclub, have been found dead as they were buried under the rubble in the aftermath of the earthquakes.

Sharing the news of the Tifosis’ death on their official Twitter page, the Turkish Ferrari Fanclub mourned the loss of their friends from Iskenderun. Their names have also been revealed as Onur and Eftalya Kurt. Judging from the photo that has been posted, Onur was a man in his 40s, while little Eftalya could not be older than 12. Charles Leclerc took note of the Twitter post and reshared it on his own wall to convey his condolences on their deaths.

Moved by the loss of two die-hard Tifosis to the destructive earthquakes that shook Turkey on Monday, Charles Leclerc decided to urge his fans to donate to Ahbap, a non-governmental organisation which helps rescue the earthquake survivors. Joining Leclerc, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton have also taken the same step as they decided to use their massive platform as world-famous F1 racers to do some good for the earthquake-ravaged countries.

In other news, Charles Leclerc is currently gearing up for the Ferrari racecar reveal which is scheduled on February 14. The Scuderia have already released a teaser with the name of their 2023 challenger displayed in the video. Introducing the Ferrari S23, their newly appointed Team Principal Frederic Vasseur is also expected to be seen at the curtain-raiser event next week.
