Fernando Alonso is known for his brilliance in Formula 1. He is one of the most popular drivers in the sport. It turns out Alonso is also popular outside of Formula 1. There have been whispers about his relationship with the iconic artist Taylor Swift. A Spanish website reported that the F1 driver has been secretly seeing the pop icon Taylor Swift for over a week now. 

While it could have been dismissed as a rumour, an anonymous gossip page “Deuxmoi” on Instagram shared it on their story and added fuel. It stated “A couple of Spanish magazines have been posting about TS and Spanish f1 driver Fernando Alonso. According to them, the couple has been seeing each other for a week now. nothing serious tho since they are both recently single.” Now the question is has Fernando Alonso charmed Taylor Swift?

Fernando Alonso recently announced that he split up with his long-term partner Andrea Schlager. The duo were a fan favourite and they were spotted together in the F1 paddock often. The TV presenter and the world champion shared many moments. Their breakup came as a shock to the fans. Alonso announced it on his social media after the Australian Grand Prix.

It was about a week later, there were rumours about Taylor Swift’s breakup with her long-time partner Joe Alwyn. They were together for six years and the duo reportedly ended their relationship. During their time together the fans came up with several theories of a possible engagement. However, they have now gone their separate ways. As both Fernando Alonso and Taylor Swift broke up around the same time and are single now, F1 Twitter came up with fan theories. 

F1 fans are thrilled with the idea of Alonso and Taylor dating and cannot contain themselves. The fans are amused and thrilled at this bizarre crossover.  There have been relationships between an F1 driver and a singer before. The perfect example would be Lewis Hamilton and Pussycat Dolls’ lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. But the duo are not together anymore. It is safe to say Fernando Alonso and Taylor Swift are not together. These are just a bunch of baseless rumours.
