The 2023 Belgian GP was filled with drama and excitement as Max Verstappen went on to win it all. The Dutch driver got his eighth consecutive win of the F1 season at Spa. Ahead of the race weekend, it was announced that Max would be taking a new gearbox which would lead to a 5 place grid penalty for sunday’s race. However the two time world champion was unbothered by that.

After winning the sprint race, Max Verstappen started Sunday’s main race and picked off the people in front of him one by one. Meanwhile Lando Norris was having a tough race due to his high downforce setup. Max got the lead of the race by Lap 17 and was nowhere to be seen later on. Lando got McLaren’s strategy to work and ended up with a seventh place finish.

The Belgian GP was the last race before the Summer Break came into play. This meant that the F1 grid will get to relax for the next three weeks. However, Max and Lando didn’t seem to be in the mood to relax as the Tomorrowland music festival was happening in Belgium. The F1 duo decided to go where they caught up with world famous DJ Martin Garrix who is a good friend.

A lot of fans went around asking why ‘DJ Lando Norris’ wasn’t performing. The Brit has had a bit of experience in Martin’s world. However, Tomorrowland is one of the biggest music festivals in the world so a wildcard entry seems unlikely. Meanwhile other fans went on to deem the three friends at the best trio. On the other hand, some even went on to say that Martin is both Max and Lando’s wag.

Max Verstappen has been on a roll now winning his 8th F1 race in a row. However, he is not ready to stop there. Sebastian Vettel holds the record for the most consecutive wins which he did back in 2013 with Red Bull. Verstappen is etching closer to matching that record and might even equal it at his home race after the summer break.
